Our program has a specific mandate which does not include providing legal assistance to individual members of the community.  We suggest you contact some of the organizations below who may be better suited to assist you.

Law Students Legal Advice Program - a non-profit society run by law students at the University of British Columbia that provides free legal advice and representation at clinics throughout the lower mainland

Pro Bono Law BC - provides resources and links to help individuals and community groups find free legal advice and assistance

Access Justice - pro bono lawyers assist persons who cannot obtain Legal Aid or afford a lawyer, through pro bono clinics

Legal Services Society of BC (Legal Aid) -  Low-income individuals may qualify for legal advice or representation through LSS.

Lawyer Referral Service - enables the public to access lawyers practicing in the field of law required for the particular situation and provides the opportunity to have a consultation with a lawyer for up to 30 minutes for a fee of $25 plus taxes.

Law Foundation of BC - distributes funds to non-profits who demonstrate a clear benefit to the people of B.C. through law reform, legal education, legal aid, legal research, and law libraries.

Enterprising Non-Profits - a source of information on programs and resources for social enterprise development.
